Nope his leg went from high to low. Miles away from the ball. Red every day of the week.
Not a stamp…
You could say the foot raked down the opponents leg.
Perhaps get yourself a dictionary if you’re going to be a pedant.

Everton winWhat did you predict pre-game? Draw?
Cyclical? It was serious foul play because it was so far away from the ball. How late does a tackle need to be for it not to be a tackle and just to be a kick on an opponent?
Everton win
4 points out our next 2 games would be amazing….
So I want Villa and Fulham to win and Spurs / Leicester and Palace / Brentford to draw...Does that sound about right ?
Fair commentSpurs to win. They’re not a relegation rival once players come back.
I've got 12th place on my mind with Moyes... so I'll have Villa, Fulham, Leicester and Brentford wins today please. So I want Villa and Fulham to win and Spurs / Leicester and Palace / Brentford to draw...Does that sound about right ?
There would, people would just stop cynically fouling all the time. Shirt tugging hasn't always been a thing. That's ridiculous, be no one left on the pitch

It definitely has mate. Footy was even more cynical in the past that it is now. Not for me a sending off. If it's massively dangerous then yeah a red but that wasn't in that category for me.There would, people would just stop cynically fouling all the time. Shirt tugging hasn't always been a thing.
Fine. Let's just treat it as striking an opponent then which is a red card (since it clearly wasn't an attempt at a tackle). If someone did that to someone off the ball who was chasing back or running forward they would be red carded. This is no different.*cynical. Autocorrect.
It’s serious foul play if it could injure a player. Did he end up injured? There wasn’t even any force used.
Fine, you're entitled to your view. I just don't see how the punishment for a genuine but mistimed attempt for the ball is treated the same as a deliberate cynical foul. In a legal context mens rea is a deciding factor when determining guilt. A court obviously treats someone who deliberately runs over and injures another person far more harshly than someone who accidentally causes an accident. This should be no different. I hate these cynical fouls. The big teams do them respectively and it's a specific tactic they employ. It's cheating and the authorities should punish it severely. It definitely has mate.
