The RS are successful, with cups especially, I think that is a benchmark. Certainly should be for Everton. Different levels yes.

The (existing) Club certainly has a far lower benchmark. I hope TFG want to make Everton great again.

I dont even think we have had a "benchmark" as such in recent seasons apart from the desperate one of avoiding the relegation zone.

Comparisons are odious they say....especially when youre not comparing like to like in a variety of ways as in this case. If any are forced to be made however, they should be between our success and past past and our situation now. Stuff the RS.... cups n all
