The whole thing is just a farce. Firstly, I doubt that penalty would even be given in our favour. Secondly, even if it was, it would be scrutinised over by VAR for 5 minutes afterwards. Their decisions get the green light within seconds.

You know what, we might have a shiny new stadium, but it's not going to matter a bean unless our connections with Toyota or whatever can be utilised to the effect of drumming our brand into the heads of thick, impressionable tourist fans across the world to somehow get us enough of a following to get the occasional rub of the green.

But it seems like too much of an effort. Might just pick a League Two team out of a hat next year and go watch them. At least there would be some competent officiating.
