One way to look at it is that doing it on the cheap the way they have, and the way we rebuilt, is that it leaves you with a side that defends well, does the little things, maintains possession and lacks the cutting edge we associate with sides that do those things.

Eminently watchable game. Spurs were frustratingly solid at the back, Brighton lacked a lockpick and a single moment of quality was the difference. Excellent end-to-end stuff with some great build-up and possession play.

One more good window should put us on the level of these.
