Can’t really see how people can question this?

I know he’s not popular, but I think people overlook the work he did with the entire group of players even from youth level.

He just instilled confidence in them, in their own ability.

He then reached a WC Semi and a final. If anything Southgate’s lack of attacking intent cost him the Euros.

You don’t need to be a group of superstars to win tournaments, you need to be a close knit group who know others strengths. The players are more than good enough.
