They aren't being financed by the big car firms anymore. Those days are over. Also the government tampering in the equivalent barcodes has been toned down some because of a menu of scandals that would've sunk any other club on the planet (outside of real)

Also that doesn't make the football better - they just play horribly boring football and everyone falls down like they've had their legs chopped off at ANY opportunity. Trying to be snide but just looking like a bunch of manchildren crying at the ref every 10 sec.

Shame Milan knocked Napoli out. They have been a great side to watch this year

Can't stockpile the talent they once could, and it's no golden generation of youth production either. The vanity projects days are done, sovereign wealth funds and the landscape of the multi multi billionaire are the zeitgeist. It'll be like going back in time to when East Germany won more medals per head of populace than anyone. Grim times.
