random question lads

If ivan toney gets for example 2 year ban from football would that mean every league? Or would he be able to play in saudi till its up?
The FA can apply to make the ban worldwide if he decided to move abroad, although it isn't automatic - it's a domestic ban in the first instance under FA rules.

However, Tottenhams's Sporting Director Paratici was banned by the Italian FA, and they applied for the English FA to enforce it as a worldwide ban - they did.

It wouldn't be in the interest of any Football Association to not enforce it, as it'd open a can of worms. By the way, he won't get a two-year ban.

Didnt joey barton get 18 months?

Could've put this in the RS thread or things that make you fume but settled for here.
One outspoken critic of Lampard being appointed at Chelsea was the legend that is Stephen Warnock. Its bad enough hearing him going on about how bad Frank was with us, but then goes on to tell the world and his wife in an emphatic way that he shouldn't get a post just because he was a decent player.
Two things, didn't utter a dicky bird when Slippy got the Villa gig and just why and who decided this no mark was worthy of air time.

To be the devil's advocate here - the kopite did very, very well at Rangers before failing miserably at Villa; Lamps was mediocre at Derby, got fired by Chelsea for poor results, we fired him for poor results and now he's back at Chelsea, no doubt to harvest some more poor results lol I dunno, it does kinda sorta make sense.

The last/bolded part is absolutely a great question though.

Yes. However, Barton was founding guilty of over 1,200 chargers, with apparent evidence suggesting he bet on games involving his team.

Toney has admitted 250 ish offences, although there’s no insinuation as of yet that it involves clubs he has played for, hence a different level of severity.

I would expect closer to eight or nine months for Toney.

I wouldn't expect anything for this case anymore - he's been playing for about a year now with everyone knowing about this, he's saved his team many a time. It's suspicious they haven't banned him and it's, to be quite frank, very big BS - the issue has been known and even quantified yet we're waiting for... something? While he plays/scores every week lol Does it matter if it's for 2, 250 or 2500000 charges, honestly?

Only in the FA can someone be found undeniably guilty, admit to his breaking of laws/rule and go unpunished for a year. Clown fiesta.

Many reckon it was his assistant Beale who is the current manager who was the real deal there.

I'll reserve judgement on Gerrard's time north of the border but the post wasn't about him. I'm just astounded that some journeyman footballer suddenly turns into the font of all knowledge on all things in top flight football. He played 67 times for the rats, 109 for Blackburn 107 for Villa and there was his appearances for another eight teams.

Oh yeah agreed on that, shockingly they're all RS-adjacent as well.
