The thing about the relegation flipouts is that even if we really do tank you'd still need some of those teams below us to improve a good deal. But bottom 4 is utterly shocking

At this rate you only need 1, not ‘some’ to improve. And even then only improve a bit really. The thing about the relegation flipouts is that even if we really do tank you'd still need some of those teams below us to improve a good deal.
I expected all of those things you said to not stop happening for no discernable reasonI have no idea what you expect. Half a new team, a new manager, a completely new style of football, enterprising, entertaining, well placed in the table. Every Palace fan I know is happy. You, meanwhile......
No improve a lot. Burnley, Newcastle and Norwich are all very very bad.At this rate you only need 1, not ‘some’ to improve. And even then only improve a bit really.
I don’t need to remind you what our record is - and again it’s only one team that needs to improve. No improve a lot. Burnley, Newcastle and Norwich are all very very bad.
Well if we have a bad run over the next 3 or 4 weeks, we then play those teams in a 3 week period either side of the new year. I'd rather we picked up some points soon though so those aren't 6 pointersNo improve a lot. Burnley, Newcastle and Norwich are all very very bad.
Your appraisal of our record ignores games that are factually part of our record.I don’t need to remind you what our record is - and again it’s only one team that needs to improve.
Burnley in particular have got many seasons experience of getting out of these situations.
Compared to last season, and even some games this season, they haven’t. We played well on the break tonight, combative and competitive in midfield and defended set pieces much better. The goal was a pen, the result of a defender with his arm in an unnatural position to protect himself from the on rushing attacker who headed it onto his arm. That was a decent performance, no different to the Arsenal or Man City away games.I expected all of those things you said to not stop happening for no discernable reason
No idea what that is supposed to mean and I really don’t careYour appraisal of our record ignores games that are factually part of our record.
Well that then gets us to the whole idea of results aren't predictive and other things matter in performances when trying to decide how future matches might go. I don't expect you to understand this.No idea what that is supposed to mean and I really don’t care
Burnley unbeaten in 3 and Norwich in 4, and they are both utterly terrible you say ?
Ok….
That makes 2 of us thenWell that then gets us to the whole idea of results aren't predictive and other things matter in performances when trying to decide how future matches might go. I don't expect you to understand this.
Still a condescending arrogant bell I seeWell that then gets us to the whole idea of results aren't predictive and other things matter in performances when trying to decide how future matches might go. I don't expect you to understand this.
Yeah and keep palace only one ahead and cuts Newcastle more adrift, great resultThen they’ll be level on points with us
