Knowing our luck they will play with 10 kids and Jesus Van Dijk and they will still batter us .
In a perfect world it would be a win/win .
We lose , the Iberian Idiot goes to the sounds of ridicule . We draw , I can enjoy the rest of the week .We win , I'm buying a lottery ticket .
Im not sure there’s anything left for them to humiliate us with - the under 5’s knocked us out the cup, ive witnessed a number of abject surrenders at their ground, the 95th minute spinning back off the top of the bar. I guess they could spank us at goodison but ive already seen a watford side that will likely get relegated stick 5 past only a few weeks ago.

Almost apathetic to the fixture - would be worse if i had any hope/expectation but quite simply i have zero

Just got home and fast forwarded through the rs game to see that apparently Stevie Me beat Palace.

So now we have to watch extended rs and Gerrard love ins every week,

We pay an actual licence fee to financially support a kopite Masturbate of the Day.

Can't even be bothered with the rest, I'll watch the goals on YouTube.

New ref for the Palace game had a howler
Not sure “howler” is fair, he got most of the big calls right. He did allow Villa to get away with a ridiculous amount of time wasting through feigning injury and they mobbed him at every opportunity. The one big call he did get badly wrong was blowing too early for a bad foul deep into the Villa half when the ball had broken to Gallagher with him and Benteke clear. Inexperience. Obviously he got the red card wrong as well but it was rightly turned over bu VAR. It was the the small and repetitive niggling fouls and time wasting that he just let Villa get away with throughout the game that stood out. He got grief at the end from Palace fans but tbh I’ve seen a lot worse from more experienced refs.

I only watched motd and the called back foul was a potential game changer.
