You are indeed correct, my memory was faulty. Still - two in three years is not bad shakes. This will be an unpopular opinion, but it’s hard not to admire how they pop up and have a swing at the big prizes even when they aren’t particularly great.

If Benitez could get that Liverpool side to back to back European Cup finals it must be in the realm of possibility he could blag us a League or FA cup.
