Chelsea in absolute and predictable control of this but they still managed to squeeze a reference to a Trent Alexander-Arnold free kick from the Devonian age.

Perhaps they genuinely think we're all secret RS admirers.
The commentator did something similar in the west ham game last week. Crow-barred some irrelevant reference in to them lot. Know your audience fella.

In sure after this win for Chelsea we’ll get loads of coverage about how their players are from a different planet, god like, should be winning the ballon dor, best in the world, or does that only happen when Liverpool beat this lot?

If Norwich get promotion next season the question for the season after will be who goes down with Norwich?

Far from following Burnley's forgotten example of using one relegation to come up stronger the second time, Norwich have got, if anything, even worse. They're a club who treat abject failure in the prem as a kind of success and treat every game in a laissez-faire defeat doesn't matter way. They have a manager in Daniel Farke who after a stunningly awful start to the season, recently thought a big six pointer against fellow relegation contenders Watford, as one that wasn't crucial at all which said everything about the club, and perhaps not surprisingly they lost that too.

Their business model might cope and think alternate seasons of promotion and certain relegation as perfectly acceptable but there'll come a day when they don't automatically come back up and players will see the club for what it is, unambitious, built for failure and going nowhere. Who will want to be there then?
