When the results are bad but they play well they deserve it but when the results are good even with less stellar play it is luck. Right.

I find myself in two minds about this stuff. If you were on your own or with mates you may well think of it as a bit of a laugh but if I had been with either or both of my lads when they were younger (as I was once at Man City watching Everton) or now with my little grandson I would fume at the stupidity of it all and be focussing on getting him out of there ASAP. Sometimes, it just kicks off around you in an instant and that can be frightening for young’uns.

American thing that I'm pretty sure started in the NFL in an attempt to rank teams against each other when a lot of them don't play each other during the season. It's completely meaningless but it riles people up.
