Today’s Football 2021/22 Season

I guess winning 1-0 while being generally outplayed wasn't going to work forever for Spurs.

Harry Kane, amazing footballer, also probably the wrong choice for either club that wanted him to play for them this season to have him in their squad. Sport can be so weird sometimes.

What exactly did Spurs think keeping him was going to accomplish though? This squad is far, far away from what they had and will take time to get back to that place.

It could just be because we have made a relatively good start to the season, but I am quite enjoying watching the footy outside of just Everton this season.

For example, really looking forward tonight to watching Brighton and Palace. Two clubs with some exciting new players who could gel nicely this season. As well as other established players who I really like such as Bissouma.

Conversely, I have basically no desire to watch any of the usual big ones, since post ESL I just find them too sickening to watch.

As my interest had waned a bit in recent years it's nice to be excited about football again now the fans are back.

Fair play to him, managed to do something James Rodríguez couldnt do this season.

He sees himself as a box to box midfielder, he puts the work in and covers a lot of ground. Viera moved him closer to Benteke and he's been getting some goals as a result.

Don't know where he would fit in Tuchel's system, but he's a good player for sure.
