Just by sitting on the bench Pickford has cemented his place as England's No.1 more than any other match he's actually played in.

I don't care about national football but if I were pickford I'd be livid. Sitting on the bench watching some no mark let goals in for fun.

Really good performance tonight from Ireland against a full strength Ukraine. Ireland finished really strong and had chances to win it. Some good building blocks there and a lot of players still to come in. Good few days.

When England do bad at the world cup, it will be because there is to many games in the prem league, players dont rest etc etc, despite England having none stop pointless friendly's, or having as many games in the last week as now lol the quicker International football is gone the better for me, as i only care about Everton and the normal football-i have zero feeling for Internationals

They won 2 out of 2 in March 2022, i.e. in the last int'l break. So you could say they looked like winning then lol

I agree they've been incredibly poor in this break though. I think there are mitigating factors but we should've been better. Not deserving so much vitriol though I think.

1 goal in the past 4 games, though, and that was a penalty.

Considering the talent available, he's not convincing many with these games. Can only dine out on a final for so long.
