Predictable how, who predicted real Madrid or Villarreal would be there

Football goes in cycles, late 70s early 80s English teams won it 6 times on the bounce, when only one club per country were in it. Without checking Im sure Italian and Spanish teams dominated certain periods.

And that English dominance would of continued all the way through the 80’s but we know what stopped that…

Looking at it today I honestly don’t see clubs from anywhere but England dominating for quite a while

Think they’ll need to make changes to their midfield tbh. Camavinga looks to be a very good bit of business and on course to be a top player, but I can’t see where they are finding the next Modric/Kroos partnership. Both still got a bit left in the tank but not enough to push Madrid to these deep ventures in Europe each year.

Benzema having the season of his life at the tail end of his career, but can he repeat this ?

They’ll need more than Mbappe unless they are banking on Rodrygo stepping up to his potential.

Still I think they’ll need to really look to their midfield if they’re to keep up this form in the coming seasons

I agree, but you know eventually they will become the best side in Europe again, they aren’t that far off.
