Football’s gorn mayde.
Looking forward to going to a great game on Saturday, particularly if you’re interested in;
Non League and Football history.
FA Cup 2nd Qualifying round paired two South London giants from the old FA Amateur Cup days, Corinthian Casuals v Dulwich Hamlet. Spectators are allowed as CC play below Step 3 but have been told that no tickets can be sold to supporters of Dulwich as they play at Step 3 and cannot currently admit spectators to their home games. Neutrals are welcome.
The Department of Culture, Media & Sport clearly believes that the Covid 19 is intelligent enough to recognise the Above/Below step 3 division. Frightening.

Its slowly gaining traction that the whole stadium/fan issue is bonkers. Certainly below the Championship anyrate.

I went to a game a few weeks ago. Stayed with my mate, stood a few yards from others. There was about 500-600 there and it was perfectly safe.

I don't think it's credible for them to say zero fans are allowed. If one in every 5 or 6 seats was filled, it would be perfectly safe for those who wish to go.

I’ve been to games at Farnborough, Kingstonian and Cray Wanderers during September. All with a similar experience. Anyhow, they’ll be no Dulwich Hamlet fans there on Saturday. Oh no. None at all. Not one. HaHa.

Would much rather all the prem teams going bust than the small teams.

All most of them need is a few hundred in. I honestly cant see the issue if rules are followed, which they will be.

The Prem clubs have to suck it up for now. They account for sommet like 98% of transfer fees in the whole of UEFA apparently this window, so bleating about needing a few thousand in doesnt cut the mustard.

Lampard taking the Carabao Cup annoyingly serious - can’t blame him his Chelsea outfit will be nowhere near anything else so this might be his chance to gloss over a poor season

Did you hear his embarrassing interview, factually incorrect on the very point he was trying to make?

The mind games of Mourinho whi having two games this week, tonight's and a Europa League playoff tie on Thursday said Thursdays is more important and he can't compete in the Carabao as he'd like to, Lampard countered with ...

(paraphrasing). It sort of equals itself out in a way as Chelsea had a game last week (the 6-0 thrashing of the mighty Barnsley at the Bridge last Wednesday night) and Spurs didn't have any game (obviously thinking of Leyton Orient cancellation last Tuesday and resultant bye), he rather conveniently forgot about Spurs Europa League away tie in Skendija, Albania on the Thursday, a match they made awfully hard work of but nevertheless a disruptive trip away.
