What is unfair about it?

We paid for their Covid-19 tests. Harry Kane sponsors their shirts. We have offered to cover all the costs of the game being cancelled.

There is literally no way to re-arrange the match. We play again on the 24th & 27th Sep with the 4th round of the Carabao Cup due on the 29-30th Sep. When should we squeeze it in?

I get that, but its not like they chose to get Corona, seems very unfair to punish them in this way.

Spurs potential eight games in sixteen days doesn't allow any movement on this, the next round is next week, conceding is really the only viable option other than playing with an under 23,'s or youth team and possibly away at Spurs. Even then it's probably impractical and impossible to set up at such short notice.

It really has to be a concession, unfortunate definitely but also an inevitable consequence.

I think you missed the memo mate. Its all SPURS fault!!! Nasty Spurs screwing the little man (even though in the rules it states if you are unable to full your match commitments due to Covid you forfeit the match).

Mate I'm not blaming Spurs.

They haven't made this decision.

Spurs paid for the tests and they help the club out, they are to be applauded.

I mean in a rearranged fixture that apparently they can't squeeze in, why can't they play the reserves then? Seems odd to have the game essentially forfeited.
