I know people like to LOL at City paying a ton for average defenders but I really thought that was a good one for them.

Yep superb player and will go down as one of the PL’s best. Already a leader, you can tell that from the way he carries himself, and I don’t even know if he speaks English yet

Cancelo too, I think is top 3 in the league at LB and RB

I like Cancelo but I think at LB it throws them off a bit. Good player though just needs to stay on the right.

Probably but if you look at the positions he takes up it doesn’t really affect his game like it would any other full back, spends more time in DM than anywhere else, so the flank he’s on doesn’t make a huge difference. Obvs that doesn’t apply when they play 4231 which they have done a fair bit this year

I think winning the league this year would be one of Pep's better managing jobs. It is his fault of course, he's had unlimited funds to bring in players and hasn't found a true replacement for Silva, Aguero or Fernandinho, but he's adapted the team to deal with some of its problems and they really are in with a chance because of it.

Answer should be yes and no The business he did do he done very well Its the business he didn't do that's the major issue Indeed, but take Oumar Niasse for example - sitting there on massive wages, content not to leave, the legacy of failure before Brands arrives. That's a very hard barrier...

I have no clue about football.

Just read that about Haller, and had no idea that they paid 45m for him less than two years ago - they were absolutely robbed! Can't believe they're getting as much as 20m back for him... he's probably a 10m striker at best. He doesn't score goals.

The most inconsistent footballer of the modern era for me. Goes from unplayable to invisible, sometimes from half to half within the same game.
