Yes I guess that's true but making the final taking being in Europe, having a pandemic cancel a game and getting lucky with a few draws is still a pretty narrow path.

Our best chance at a trophy isn't sneaking the league cup, it is being good enough to compete for all the trophies again.

I get why we do this when Ings scores or whatever but he's a defender who scored which has no impact on if we should sign him or not
