Well they're trying to use him exactly like Mount, but in Germany that wasn't what he was good at. So that is sort of the problem currently.

Haaland would be the one that they could pull of easier. I'd guess PSG would want multiple hundreds of millions for Mbappe. I'd actually be a bit sad if City paid that.

They'd be better to get Haaland who would cost a lot less than Mbappe, n'all. They need two strikers though, so Messi for commercial reasons and Haaland might make sense for them.

Messi would do a job for one season but that’s not what they need, they’ve already got Aguero who can do that. It would be a pure vanity signing.
