Arteta bringing in a 32 year old on big wages, spending big money in the wrong areas has to be questioned. He's been loyal to Xhaka even if not rated by many, early mistakes are finding him out

They were prepared to pay more than Chelsea and got Willian but why? Arteta has potential as a manager but Arsenal took a big risk in bringing in the prototype not the finished article.

With a flying Southampton and resurgent blues next it could be time for relegation specialist Big Sam to save them lol

LOL's at putting James in with Richarlison and DCL to try and make your attack seem as good as Kane and Son. It brings back the funny memories of the Spurs page a few months back and the many people saying that Richarlison and DCL are better.

Well it's the attacking 3. Throw any of your third attackers in, and they are quite similar.

I probably take Son/Kane over our 2, but its close.

I've already pointed out though, DCL is now better than Kane as a number 9. I know which one will score more domestic goals in open play this season.

Christ. Won a few games have you?

Son and Kane are on a different level, but you're a couple of wins from a Meltdown of your own. Be gracious in your top of the League status and stop being a Kopite

I obviously don’t agree that Kane isn’t better than DCL but I like him a lot and I also like that he comes across as a nice bloke.

There are more dubious than sensible calls.

  • Pay £27m for Saliba, and send him on loan for 18-months.... only to cancel the loan early, and make him play in the reserves, behind David Luiz in defence.
  • Drop Ozil, and keep him out the official squads for the season, yet continue to pay him £350k a week. Whilst he's laughing his head off, and doing nothing but positive things to his image (Gunnersaurus etc...)
  • Don't focus on transfer improvements, just sign Aubameyang, who's now got his big contract and fell out of form.
  • Let Torreira, Guendouzi leave on loan... yet still play Xhaka
  • Agree to sell players (Maitland-Niles), yet keep them and don't play them, because they had a good game in a friendly.

Just like I did when Spurs started the season badly (when Evertonian’s were flocking to the Spurs page to take the pi55,) I commented on the people who said that DCL and Richarlison are better than Kane and Son and I see that you agree with me.

Whether Spurs win lose or draw I’ve never hidden on here and I’ve also never gaven it large about Spurs current form or what they would achieve but I have consistently said that I would be over the moon with a top 4 finish.
It’s gonna be a season of many ups and downs for all clubs but I think that’s gonna make it an exciting season.

P.S. I probably agree, if Spurs win the next couple of games, I could have a happy meltdown ;-).

All because he not learned his trade yet. Arsenal should at least give him 2 seasons at least.

You don't come into this business with Arsenal's reputation and status, when they're in turmoil and expect to be given time.

That said, is there a worse job in football at the moment (aside from Barcelona), than the Arsenal job? Large number of uninterested players who have downed tools now for a third straight manager.

Reports come out that Arteta isn't handling it too well, and you do feel sorry to some extent, but you've got to utilise your assets. Completely ignoring Ozil was always a risky move and right now, when they need something "different", it's Nketiah, and not him.
