What, no win away at big club in ten years and no trophies? Cool
Moyes was amazing for us. Very unlucky not to win a trophy but had us playing good football, bought some unbelievable players on a shoestring budget and really 'got' the club.

Yes his record was crap against the top clubs, but let's not forget he took over a really, really poo side and turned us into regular European finishers and brought back, at least some, good times.

What have we done since Moyes with half a billion pounds? Still not beaten Liverpool and are good for a number of humiliating thumpings a season.

If he can lead West Ham to mid table this season and improve on that next season he'll be off to great start again in his second stint with them.

Fair enough, he’s just a journeyman for me. A club that lacks ambition will live his knife to gunfight attitude

He's got his limitations but I will always be thankful that he stabilised us and brought a little pride back to us. Can't say there has been anything to be proud about since he's left. Has anything good actually happened? 72 points under Roberto, but no top four finish, before it all fell apart spectacularly in typical Everton fashion, which has lead to utter chaos for the last half a decade. And now? We're no better than when Moyes left and hugely in debt following years of awful financial decisions.

I didn't like the way that he left (The cringey send off was pure Kenwright not Moyes like)

BUT i massively appreciate the job he did for the majority of the time he was manager - A job that seems to be too big for such esteemed luminaries as Ronald Koeman and Carlo Ancelotti
Do you think it was moyes who set the amount that was offered, no chance.

He would have said the players he wanted and left the rest for the big wigs, like it is with near every club now.

Because its irritating seeing clubs with a fraction of our finances, history and stature/fanbase consistently do better

We are like a 6 ft 5 kickboxer getting our tummies tickled by the wealdstone raider
FFS money isnt the problem, its what Martinez, Koeman, Silva, Walsh, and now Brands have spaffed up the wall..the 80s team cost relatively little in comparison. Moyes should have fecked of after the 2009 final.
We have no divine right to be in the top 6, top 10 or whatever.

Waiting for Moyes' first trophy.... lollollol

Let's be honest, there has been a lot of rewriting of history. Moyes was usually the best manager in the league outside the top four (and often within it too). Could be a nice redemption story on the cards.

What I noticed is how much they look like a team, and not just a collection of expensive individuals. You cannot buy team spirit.

Or hard work ethic.

Whole culture of the club is crap - literally think we are nothing but a money Laundering operation these days loads of money flushed in but no expectations to actually do anything.

Very strange it all.
