although right on cue Ndombele is injured. Mourinho will be alright as long as one of their centrebacks doesn’t give them an absolute gift early doors. I can’t understand why some people clamour for the Wolves manager or the Leicester manager, they might turn us over but games like tonight show how incompetent they are. They’ll never achieve anything in the game whatsoever, but some fans would prefer them over Carlo Ancelotti.

Most of the recent derbies have ended in draws (or extremely fortuitous narrow wins for them). Every other team is getting punted 4 or 5 nil regularly and barely laying a glove on them. No one can be having a go at our record when they turn up like this. Apart from Villa and maybe City we’re the only team to stand up to them this season, the rest have absolutely cracked their pants.
