If Liverpool drew yesterday City don’t put this performance in. They come out all guns blazing. The premier league have got what they wanted. Too many people in the establishment had their nose out of joint last year by City being too good. Job done this year.

That's exactly what happened. Liverpool on 6 points ahead instead of 8 today before KO and the possibility of bringing them back to 3 would have been all the incentive they'd have needed.
