It didn't taste eggy & it was smoother than normal toast, had a greasy sort of feel to it but the receptor that kicked in most was the sweet 1
To make good French Toast you don't just soak it in egg.
You want a single egg, a cup of milk and a tablespoon of sugar and a teaspoin of salt and a couple of tablespoons of flour.....whisk together then add a tsp of vanilla. Soak some decent sandwich bread cook, then slather in REAL maple syrup.
Perfection.
So french toast is exactly the same as egg bread & I've tasted it, is that right?
People don't actually eat fried bread in real life do they?
