Since the vast majority of male presenters have never played professional football then I don't really understand the argument against female presenters when it's framed around 'knowing the game'.

I'm sure they've sat on their arses and watched just as much football as Jake Humphreys.

Quite honestly, it is not sexist to have a preference that men commentate mens sports and women commentate women's sports. It is a preference.

I would suggest that most of us have other arenas where we prefer females or males to the other, and that does not make us sexist either.

I,m not, I don't subscribe but I still think its wrong this new found agenda to try to eliminate men from what is still largely a male pastime. Most women don't really like football,you only have to watch any game show to see their reaction when a football question comes on.
