Just read today that this new channel that is taking over coverage from BT sport will have FOUR women presenters fronting mens football next season as "they aim to push new boundaries".
Nice and sexist that I must say.

I,m not, I don't subscribe but I still think its wrong this new found agenda to try to eliminate men from what is still largely a male pastime. Most women don't really like football,you only have to watch any game show to see their reaction when a football question comes on.

Is this just for football or should this be the rule for every sport that is shown on TV, covered on the radio or written about in the paper, like literally every sport and every report about that sport?

Starts to become a little bit sexist, if you are wanting complete segregation of sexes, to be honest

I suppose if it is for every sport, when you get mixed events then there should be equal number of Women Vs Men.

Or, maybe we shouldn't actually care that much, if you want to watch it and think that the pundits/presenters have decent knowledge then watch it, if not don't.

For what it’s worth, the main 2 are excellent presenters, especially Woods, even if she is flavour of the moment.

They’re all a vast improvement on Ferdinand, Joe Cole, Hoddle and Owen… oh and Humphrey’s.

Only time a female broadcaster will annoy me is if they’re there purely for a tickbox. Yes, I’m talking about Eni Aluko and Karen Carney lol but they offer nothing other than them loving the sound of their own voice.

Other than that, no problem at all.
