Just wondering if anyone agree's that Lescott leaving is still affecting Cahill? From what i have read those 2 were good mates, although i think you will find its like that amongst others two. But i think is a serious issue here, i believe it has affected his form so early in the season. I mean how many lollipops has he missed now that you know last season you would have seen in the back of the net.

His trade mark late runs and headers are almost no existent, although to be fair he was winning alot of flicks on last weekend. Anyways as i said i think Judas leaving has affectted him on some way, shape or form. Opinions?

a) he's not getting the service
b) its damn hard to stay motivated when youre raking in the big bucks, your heads on the cover of Fifa 10 and youre making TV Commercials left right and centre.
c) he's played alot of games lately
d) his role has been defined less clearly due to players injuries
e) moyes spent 15m on his replacement/understudy or younger player that plays in his possy - gotta mess with your head
f) bad luck - happens to everyone
g) all of the above rolled into a giant spliff

take your pick

Lad , been speaking to me mate about this , not so much Lescott linked , but Timmy is suffering the most from our current injury predicament . Also , being the Aussie David Beckham , is also taking it's toll .
Stop playing him wide , pls God Piennar's back asap , and let's get Timmy back to being Timmy . And with the Convicts qualified , less around the world jaunts , midweek .
I still love his bones .

Piennar is badly missing as he gives you a lot more options which we were badly missing.Just to watch steven is worth the gate doe alone.

I've been talking about Timmys form for a couple of weeks now on here and nobody had chirped up, thought it was just me!

It's one for the manager. Do you 'rest' him for a game or 2 or play him through it and rinse it out the system?

Spot on mate. Could not agree more.

Can't be too harsh on Tim though. He has scored a good header, and also what might prove to be an important winner against BATE in Siberian weather conditions - (I felt cold just watching it so hats off to all the Blues that made the trip to Belarus)

No, he's just playing poorly at the moment and at times, is playing out of position. He needs to up his game, if we had players available he's certainly a player I'd be looking to drop.

Certainly not long term as he's an important player for us but he does need to up his performances. Even in his natural position he's played below par.

Would love to see timmy benched for 2 or 3 games, bring him on for last 20 minutes when he is at his sharpest to make them late runs and the opposition are tiring and unable to track his late runs into the box. Then he might just bag himself a few goals, the confidence would be back and everything would be rosie in the garden again( i know this is not gonna happen given the dire state our squad is in at the mo so he,ll have to drag himself out of the [Poor language removed] some how)

Drop him, and see how he reacts. (y)
Noone deserves a place. It must be earned, and Timmy is no exception. Hopefully he will come back firing on all cylinders.

He looks knackered to me, so deserves a rest as soon as someone is there to replace him.

He doesn't deserve to be dropped though. There is a difference!

He's been ineffective all season.
How can you say he doesn't deserve to be dropped? These guys are earning a fortune playing for this club. Let's not get all sentimental over them. At the moment, he is no use to the team.
