Oh I forgot about the fact EFC are just a lying set of arseholes from the bottom to the top, especially about the investment/buyer scenario when we say that "we need investment" and employ a top guy to find the investment then string everyone along. Because we all know we're tip top and we'll do just fine without it.

You were informed last week by a journalist in the Independent that this 'offer' to sell the club and employ Harris to be the go between is not formalised...no papers have been drawn up to that effect. You also have the evidence from the Kirkby application that our directors are not looking to sell the club.

It's not exactly speculative that the board say one thing and do another. You just have to follow what they are actually saying and doing, and when you do that it cuts right through all these newspaper reports.

So then you have to ask, whats the point?

If the Kirkby docs say the directors wont sell, and then the chairman says he wants to sell, reitterated by Moyes himself and Kenwright, and that Harris hasnt been brought in to help find a buyer -- whats the point in all of it if it aint gonna happen or has a chance to?

Whats the point in giving the odd bone out for the press to get hold of and generate stories because its not "spin". Spin is used to deflect and or shine light on something to benefit it. What benifit do the club get by saying one thing while doing another, then denying the one thing that started it all off?

Its all very pointless.

No, it's not pointless. We are down and out at the moment because we haven't had the usual punching above our weight effort that we expect from a squad severly underfunded in comparison with clubs in the Premiership we usually compare ourselves to or aspire to become. We are falling behind and the men off the pitch know we know they are not up to the job of fullfilling our objectives. Stories like this have a logic to them: they are meant to give the impression something is afoot, wheels have been set in motion to improve our lot. Let's face it, a new owner has been 'just around the corner' at this club since the Kenwright/Gregg spat three years ago. Here we are again going through the same tired routine.

But that just creates false hope, something we've already had plenty of, so in my eyes (if what you says true) its all pointless playing silly games just to boost moral, keep a face to the club etc.

Still do not believe any of it, just do no trust BK for one second after the Fortress fiasco and watch this space, the man is a serial fibster.

One aspect though which has been mentioned elsewhere, perhaps some one on here might if it is true. On Saturday Keith Harris was said to be sitting next to BK.:o

But Bill says it's all lies, so therefore it must be true!

think the chances are there are probably buyers out there, gotta guess it hinges on the new stadium though, if your gunna invest in a prem club, TBH i would pick someone with a good stadium 1st, man city being a prime example, no need to shell out on stadia so only need to invest in the team, possible reason why newcastle seem to be a good investment? As for the club denying it, there bound 2, we aint the only 1's who dont want to count chickens i think, as for the moon being made out of green cheese pffft shows what you know its definately SWISS cheese :P

Appolagies if someones already said this, but my take on any take over is this:

I think there is interest in the club, nothing concrete as yet. But, because what has gone on at Newcastle its kinda been put on hold.

I think once all is sorted at Newcastle and they appoint keegan to just walk away when its clear hes not really a good manager. He knows that himself, just can not face it straight up like he should! Anyway, I think once its sorted out up there then we may well see movement on the takeover front at Goodison.

tho it must be sed, im a miserable fucka, i would like to offer a word of caution ,. Careful wat you wish 4 !!! this is everton remember. see no txt spk !! oh, and cheers neiler, boss to be back. lcab.(y)
