Speaking to my Son in Law, he maintains that the case will go to the FA court before next season fixtures sorted. He was also quite firm if Everton lose the FA will change the league standings and Everton will go down due to a 6 point deduction.
Also claims that the financial loss over the 3 years was 600 million so deffo FFP broken and as such Everton have cheated thus rules broken. If Everton win there will be no change. So really it is all about how the expenses what ever the amount were calculated..

Does anyone have any late news on what is happening.

BTW the other club according to him who are joining in is Newcastle.

What;s the FA got to do with this? It's the Premier League.

And the Premier League aren't going to say "You know when we sat down with you and agreed all this? Yeah well, we got it wrong. Have a six point deduction on a season that's already been played. Yeah, I know there's no precedent for that"

It's your daughter I feel sorry for if he believes that.

It was £700 million. Everton lobbed the accounts in with a crayoned x in the signature box for the league accounts do they didn't bother checking them at the time.

Also the league has said they'll try and take 6 points off us and make us pay a huge fine that will go directly to paying off Burnley's debts.

Which means we go down and Burnley are put back. Burnley's debt is due to the leveraged purchase and the consortium was a gang of 60 Yanks, the money will go them not Burnley per se.

Genuine question mate, is your son-in-law privy to any information not in the public domain, or does he have any relevant expertise in this field to justify such claim? Basically what I’m asking is, why should the opinion of your son-in-law be treated any differently to the hordes of World Wide Web Weirdos on Twitter etc that are spouting similar waffle?

Losses of the magnitude that appear to breach FFP don't automatically mean a club is in breach, because UEFA's FFP parameters don't consider certain types of "virtuous" spending -- like investment in youth or infrastructure -- as losses. And, when arguing their case, clubs can also include future revenue projections to show they are trending in the right direction. At least this is what Liverpool and Man City have relied upon previously and lets be honest, they won't want their cash cows dragged back into a threatening situation as I am sure there'd be an all out war.
