I’d save the money up, fly to quakam in Senegal and find mr and mrs niasse and tell them some kind of terminator style story and how they must send there future son to learn to play football at a very early age and il show them clips of his future career here at Everton and tell them this is what happens if they don’t make him train every day!

Martinez takes over signs niasse...we win the league, all the cups etc every year.,he goes on to win ballon d’or every season TIL he’s 42 and then takes over as Everton manager and were invincible.... the end.

The Championship is definitely a real trophy. We won the old Division Three in 2011 and that was our first trophy in 133 years. Experienced my first pitch invasion, and the atmosphere at the match as a whole was brilliant, everything went exactly to plan and we hammered our local rivals to win the league. Quietly hopeful I'll experience the same again this season.

Not sure this was any sort of lost opportunity - the 94-5 team had great characters but also huge gaps in quality.

Royle's big signings from then (Kanchelskis, Speed, Short, Barmby) were all v good or decent. Needed more money to build the depth of the squad given the injuries we had, and to have signed the 2 key players he missed out on (Martyn and Flo).
