Didn't look out of place against their quality in midfield, excellent.

He done well against a top midfield. He done enough to keep that position for the next game anyway, would like to see him dominate a lesser midfield like Burnley. He’s got a chance here with the missing players to show what he’s about.

A bright spark yesterday. He’s on that list of players terrified of making a mistake though as he’ll be out next game. Meanwhile there’s others who can make as many as they like and know they’re starting every game.

Its beyond me how other posters cant see this.

Iroegbunam, Alcaraz, Dibling at the very least look like theyre frightened to make mistakes and are playing within, and second guessing themselves.

Any mistakes or attempts to show something (positive or not) lead to them being dropped.

He knows he’s getting dropped for Gana as soon as he’s back no matter what he does. That will just lead to him either trying to do crazy stuff, or playing so conservatively to not make a mistake. He should have been told that if he plays well in this period he keeps the shirt even when Gana is back, but every man and his dog knows Gana comes straight back in.

He knows he’s getting dropped for Gana as soon as he’s back no matter what he does. That will just lead to him either trying to do crazy stuff, or playing so conservatively to not make a mistake. Yes and in the meantime we should be developing Iroegbunam to be a starter for next season.

Its amazing to me how Moyes just sticks with his experienced favourites no matter what.

Its a game of togger we are scripted to rarely win under modern sky rules. Don't let modern football depress you, you'll never win.

Haha yeah, not really depressed , I just find it bizarre that if someone scores a goal and we win 1-0 or someone makes some terrific , eye catching tackles then they’re going to be MoTM , and the other aspects of their game in that match don’t get considered.

He’s always done this, zero surprise he’s doing it again. Virtually all of our managers post Martinez have done this to some degree. Moyes is the master of it though.

Alcaraz didn’t look frightened to make mistakes yesterday tbh..

He seems to lack confidence to drive forward with the ball like he used to and his passing is generally poor.
