Yeah, one of his better games today in all honesty but he's definitely on the list of squad players that need to be improved on.

Ridiculous take. I thought he did well. Very difficult to play midfield against that level of team when so few players in your own team are capable of retaining possession. Prime Xavi would have struggled in our midfield tonight.

Every game I see this guy he's improving, thought he was MOTM today myself, even if my vote was different..

It's a good thing when every time you watch a player they are better.

Thought he was ok tonight will agree that still dont kno long term if has a future here. Is a big chance with kdh/ gana out for him to show. Esp in the next couple of fixtures

Where I'm at with him is I see some talent, but at the moment I'd bet against him eventually being the level we need/want.

He isn't one of those I'm absolutely certain we need to move on, because I could be wrong as he does have a lot of the tools.

aside from newcastle hes played pretty well in every game hes been in, some people in this thread have made their mind up on him and are determined to say he's not good enough, he very much is.

He's a good squad player who is improving this season, and was probably our best player today.

But its very clear theres a weird agenda with him to some.

Not sure about that is games when gana is off it but has been good this season. Dont think tim has been at his level has put in decent performances but need see more

I actually think he is currently far better than what James Garner was in Garners previous seasons. That alone gives me hope. I see the lad having some moments that surprise me in a good way.........he just needs to reach more moments in a game. I think he has the quality but not the faith in himself yet
