Started poorly but improved greatly as the game wore on. I'm interested to see how we line up against Forest with both Gana and Iroegbunam suspended. I assume Garner will come back into midfield but who plays RB?

….hugely critical of him on Saturday, I doubt we’d have seen him tonight except for injuries but I gave him my MoM.

Looked much better just sitting deep. I feared with him being on a yellow for so long but he was measured, disciplined and composed with some crucial interceptions late in the game. Shame he now has to sit out the Forest game.

Yeah only just noticed he picked up a yellow, that’s a real problem on Saturday. Shame, he put in a good shift tonight.

He's a young player playing in the most competitive part of the pitch so he'll have his ups and downs and it annoys me the stick he gets

….he was awful at the weekend but did very well tonight. I just think he was told to be disciplined and sit in, he was caught in no-man’s land so much on Saturday. A bit like Lee Carsley, used to do, sometimes it’s about not covering too much ground.

Ropey first half. Much better second half. Kept himself going despite the yellow. Shame he is now banned for sat.

Yeah not sure on these "great game" shouts.

Id have not been bothered if hed have come off at half time.

That sliding tackle from behind was unreal, haven’t seen anyone do that since Onana
More of that and more positional awareness and smart play like his second half performance instead of legging it round headless and we’re onto another player

I’m guessing that yellow he got early on was the cumulative one that earned him a one game suspension?

come in for some flack. the yellow card seems to have focused his mind. made some huge interceptions/tackles.
