When he has played in a 2 with Gana he's surprisingly done well. I think its because they have both pressed together and Gana has talked him through the game.

Otherwise, when hes come on as a sub into a 3 and just been running around tackling people he's also looked the part.

Certainly has never looked like a starting player in a 2 to me and surprised me with Gana. With Garner he looked way off in a 2.

Last summer and a couple of months back i was thinking we may get £15mil for him in Jan.

We need to move some players out in Jan, leverage PSR to make 2 or 3 signings.

Compare him with 19 year old Lewis Miley and its night and day. That kid can play anywhere in midfield and would actually be ideal for us as a 6 or 8 (was more advanced today).

Its an interesting one. Seeing Miley for Newcastle and then Iroegnunam for us was an eye opener for Moyes hopefully.

Armstrong to return and Moyes to use Rohl or Gana ahead of him may not be ideal but he walks into that central midfield if KDH isnt going to be used there.
