He's got a great first touch and turn but a lot of what he tried today didn't work. Would still prefer to see him in Doucoure's position (Alcaraz being 1st choice of course).

Such a frustrating player. He often gets himself in good positions but then is slow to make the pass or simply makes the wrong decision. I'm not sure if it's a lack of minutes or whether it's a general shortcoming in his game but it can be maddening.

He always seems keen to take a man on to progress the ball but as a midfielder, especially in the way we generally set up, he really needs to pick his moments better cause it leaves us in trouble in the wrong area.

Seems to lack abit of disciplined, his positional sense is poor.

He's got good some decent facets to his game but he positional awareness is way off.

His second half performance against Bournemouth is etched in my mind.

He needs to watch and learn from Gana, simplify his game.

Made sense to give him a start today...see what hes about.

But one start to be dropped again wouldnt help much -- he (as with one or two others) needs a run of games.

….i know he’s naturally languid but I’d like him to play with a bit more tempo. He’s got gears but seems stuck in third. Lots going for him in terms of quality and physicality, he just needs a bit more application.
