Hopefully if we can get some players in he can benefit with a loan deal for a season, he was poor today.

He tends to lose the ball in dangerous area, a lot.

Looked very casual and got caught out a few times… bad performance from him today but as a youngster and having costs us 10m or basically nothing as we let dobbin go to them…. He’s a good prospect to have and hopefully with games he can become a decent prem cm

I like this guy, it wasn't his best game today but that's because he was not with the pace of it, he will become good

Mixed bag but his first game in months he was rusty, he has strengths like pressing and tackling and driving with it. But his off the ball work and decision making needs to improve though

To me looks like he's trying a bit too hard to impress, but I think we've seen enough at the start of the season to realise there is definitely a player there.

Can't pronounce his name, but suspect he is someone else's reject who will probably not make much of an impression at Everton.

He looks an attacking player that has a decent tackle on him. I question his positioning at times, but I think he will be on of our more versatile players in the side. Moyes has kind of tested him out in a few areas and I can see why. It's just a matter of getting more minutes and consistency out of him.

He should be playing in Doucore's position behind the striker until we get the bodies back. I have no idea why Garner was dropped for Tim instead of Doucore when Tim has shown he is better on the offensive side atm. I just think the manager is being stubborn. Kind of like Dyche when he'd throw players to the wolves just so he could say "I told you so he's crrrrap lah." Not a fan of this crap.

I'd like to see him given a run of games to see if he can develop a partnership with Gana, I think their styles compliment each other.

Can't make my mind up on this lad!!he broke an attack up yesterday superbly deep in our half carried the ball at pace well into arsenal territory then totally miscontrolled it,just sums him up currently a bit patchy!!!

Prior to his injury, he was one of the few players who showed real promise. While he clearly needs time to regain full match sharpness and was some way off the pace, his early performances since returning offer grounds for optimism.

Based on his early season performances he could still come good. He is clearly not suied to the holding midfield like Garner. Much better in Doucoure's role or even cover for Gana if he gets injured. I thought he and Garner looked pretty good together earlier this season if my memory serves me.

People are basing opinions of him being good on 4 games where we conceded 12 goals and scored 4.

His first PL start since mid September, after a lengthy injury break, only the 6th or 7th (I think?) of his PL career, and in a 2 man midfield against Arsenal. Tough task for a 21yo when we only had 28% or so possession. Obviously some of that could be attributable to him, but we played a lot of long balls, bypassing midfield.
He wasn't impressive, but very few were, and as is usual with him, he showed good flashes and made excellent blocks. Silly to write him off already, especially since Moyes showed faith in him by giving him a start. Against some of our upcoming opponents I think he'll show his true worth, if given the opportunity.
