Very harsh to slate him on today. Barely plays then gets chucked in against Declan Rice and co. Needs a run of games like any player, especially a young one.

I would like him to play in doucoure role. I think he could be a Morgan Rodgers type player. Strong and can drive with the ball. Also he can turn over the ball when opposition has it

Also a part of trying to make things happen, inevitably he'll get it wrong sometimes...

Overall I like him and think he's got a lot of potential, could see him growing into a doucuore type box to box player albeit miles better on the ball

The Hipsters choice at the start of the season.

Can break up play but is absolutely limited by technique and having pretty poor positioning off the ball. Feels like the boundless energy is more him headless running than actual quality.

I just think positional play is not there yet, he might learn as young. I would like to see him be given more freedom.

Slating him is harsh but commenting on his performance isn’t. He’s a PL footballer, people will expect a certain level from him. The lad has ability but it’s fair to discuss what he can and can’t do.
