Tim Howard

I'm not sure who I'm more angry with, Martinez to continue to play him for so long this season or Howard himself for knowing he could of, or probably already had a move to the MLS lined up before Christmas.

Just disgusting from both of them.

Yes Martinez is to blame for playing him the last few seasons, but he has been a good performer at times and became a regular in goal. Now it's time to leave in the summer and Robles who is now no.1, for now unless we invest!!

Not sure if this has been asked in this thread, but, assuming we beat Bournemouth on Saturday, which would I believe put us mathematically safe, would you play Howard in the final home game?

Personally, I would. 100%

He deserves a decent departure...........
Hopefully along with our Manager RM - the writing was on the wall for me when RM was choosing him above Robles after Robles had kept three clean sheets 18 months ago on Tims return as RM stated he was no 1 it was hard to see how when Tim was awful and continued to stand on his line or fall on his backside, we were playing well then too it may cost the manager his job it's one of the main factors IMO!
I stated it at the time not just now by the way, if it was not going to be Robbles no,attempt in January or last summer even to find a good keeper?
Then to extend Tims contract with other aging players was a mystery too?

Of course, but that was the managers fault. Howard had been a good keeper for our club until his form dipped, it happens to every player. He did not pick the team. He should have gone two years ago, but now he is going he at least deserves respect for his good years at the club..............

not a chance, he's been rank for two years, and average at best before this, we don't need a parade to celebrate this, take your millions tim and do one
