Robles had an absolute shocker today - almost as bad as Howard. Giroud's goal should have stood and that would have been a big error by the keeper

@mlyons Robles looked shaky today in front of a defence that was so poor - yes he let 2 in on one on ones big deal - Arsenal were waltzing through our defence at ease do you want him to play centre half too?
His distribution was poor in some aspects, and one other aspect he sent a great long ball for Lukarku to run onto - the team were that bad I could not name anyone as MOTM imo!
The Geru goal were he pushed Jags was a blatant foul correctly disallowed some joker blamed him for that - the Manager the team need to look at themselves with that performance disgusting is a kind word!
For all the Roble haters where were you when he did his pen save when he came into the team????????

I'm not criticizing Robles. He'd been great for most of the last few weeks up until today, and I don't think he was that bad today, either (although his kicking was much worse than I've come to expect -- must have caught the bug that every other Everton player had today). I'm certainly not blaming Robles for the loss today, far from it. People are far too quick to point a finger at the goalkeeper any time a goal is conceded.

That's the point, though. We've been conceding goals all season because our defending is terrible. Switching goalkeepers probably improved things a little, but it's nowhere close to solving the fundamental problems that have been plaguing this team all season. That's what the people who have been screaming about how Howard is the worst goalkeeper in Europe don't seem to understand.

Seriously it's been the defending all along. Pitiful by anyone standards. Howard the scapegoat not playing has exposed how poor we are and been from the start. Even with Neuer between the sticks it would still be an adventure. Let's close this season with haste and find some solutions from it all in the summer or else.

Pleeease... some of the goals that Flapper conceded were dreadful. No need to run down the list again...

But to be to fair to Flapper Man Howard, he was doing exactly the same last season. We all knew but RM chose
to ignore the evidence. And look where we are. The only reason that we are still in Cup is Robles.

lol ,

Scapegoat my hoop, hes produced the most individual errors by a keeper for 2 seasons now.

We may not be perfect but we're conceding way less goals

Tim Howard has made far many blunders than Robles this season fact - When we were in winning positions, poor at everything his cowardly actions of not leaving his line etc,
To judge Robles on yesterday's performance , and try and turn it on not being Tims fault for losing us vital games when in winning positions with his gaffs - unlike yesterday whe The whole team stunk is a bit pathetic digging up old critics on him!
Robles was far from perfect in his distribution yesterday, but that goes down as the worst blues performance all over the park including RM tactics too!
