those comments sounds like its at least no guarantee that he will come back, he's made one big decision dropping baines...lets hope this continues

problem is howard could now play in fa cup lol

With all due respect, 99% of us will lose it, bar the Manager himself, a couple of our Americans in here, and a few others. Just like the whole season so far, life will go on.
I think he'll play..
 
Everton would be in the top 4 right now if not for Howard and his antics. I don't think I can ever forgive him for what he has done.

Truthfully, I can't remember his individual form in 07/08, but in 13/14 I remember one mistake with Osman which lost us a game at home to Sunderland and one mistake at home against Chelsea which Barry bailed him out of, other than that I remember near the end of the season thinking that whoever the new goalkeeping coach was had done wonders for Howard

Still find it bizarre how rapidly his form deteriorated after that World Cup

Conservatively, in my opinion, his exploits in goal have cost us between 6-10 points. That's before we discuss defensive issues. Top 5 possibly better.
Not blaming Howard one bit. He's trying his best. The fault lies elsewhere.
 
If he starts on Saturday the fans are going to absolutely slaughter any tiny mistake he makes. A lot will also lose a hell of a lot of their patience with Martinez. Think the players may lose confidence too, no matter how well they play they will be dropped for the favourites, not a good standard to set.
