Tim Howard

Hahaha Stones dealt with it! Laughable comment. He should have booted it away or played it back to Howard straight away yet he took ages to make a decision then played an under hit pass back to Howard who was now under pressure. Howard should do better but Stones created the situation. I do think Howard has some blame (a small amount) but you said it's 100% his fault which is utter nonsense.
It wasn't under hit though. It only looked under hit because Howard was day dreaming as the pass was made.

He's got to see it, I still think he's scared to drop Howard because of his influence and ego in the dressing room. Howard would turn the whole squad against him if he wanted to, similar to what Gerrard did with Hodgson, and Terry with Mourinho. Honestly a rotten, poisonous character. He doesn't care if we finish 12th or 5th and lose all our best players, as long as he's still playing every week and getting in the USA squad, getting his grid all over magazine covers and TV shows in the states he's not arsed. Complete vermin he is

Haha I love how everyone have convinced themselves that Howard is some sort of national hero here in the U.S. That's not the case. At all. Yes, American soccer fans are aware of the influence he's had over the course of his career. But to suggest that there's some huge fandom for him over here is crazy.

He's a bigger problem than he seems at face value. The fact he's clearly got the manager wrapped around his little finger and is contracted to us for another 2 years, is a serious problem. We need a manager that will let him know who's boss, Martinez is too feeble and weak minded to it seems. So we're stuck with this calamity throwing points down the toilet for the next 2 and a half years

Stones was as culpable as this clown today, but my god he should have done better for both goals again, his position his untenable, ironic cheers when he even catches the ball does him or his teammates no good what so ever.

If it wasn't underhit, how did Ayew get to it? He travelled farther than the ball did; I think it's fair to say that any pass that moves slower than someone can run is underhit.

I don't understand how anyone could watch that debacle today and think that all of our problems would be solved if we had a different keeper in. It's just magical thinking.

Under hit yes when your keeper is stood in concrete!
Then his attempt to get the ball could have shielded it no just hack the player down!

pretty much sums it up, people can blame stones this week, or blame jags last week, but having this biff behind them compounds even the slightest error, the defense must be a constant bag of nerves with howard in the team, you will see an upturn in everyone's performance once this utter illness of a keeper is removed

Unfortunately by the time this rat has left the club, hardly any of our current star players if any, will still be here. We'll be an established 11th-15th placed team by then

"Debacle today" the key words there mate, underhit or not this bloody keeper is at the heart of the "weekly debacle" every week.
This isnt a blame game this is posters & the majority at Goodison that see's he costs us almost every game...we've had enough mate.
