Yes the first was unforgivable for Stones.

He was covering the initial shot on the second...it deflected over him.
Stop talking balls lad, the first was a complete mess from Howard, Stones also made a mistake but it doesn't excuse the complete mess that Howard made of dealing with the pass, he was half asleep and then cleaned out Ayew.

He wasn't covering the initial shot for the second either, he was virtually sat on his arse when that ball went past him.

Shermans defining a Sherman - it's so boring ffs. Howard is absolute gash lad, if you can't see that then stick to rounders

Stones dealt with the problem he had by passing it back to his keeper which is a perfectly acceptable thing to do. It became a problem when Howard completely messed up his end of things. Even if the pass was under hit (which it wasn't) should a keeper:
A) Foul the striker
B) Pull out of the tackle so that the ball goes harmlessly out for a goal kick
???

How you don't see Howard being at fault is beyond me.

Hahaha Stones dealt with it! Laughable comment. He should have booted it away or played it back to Howard straight away yet he took ages to make a decision then played an under hit pass back to Howard who was now under pressure. Howard should do better but Stones created the situation. I do think Howard has some blame (a small amount) but you said it's 100% his fault which is utter nonsense.

He dove to his right to save the shot where it was going...it deflected over him. Stop making stuff up.

Stones and Howard equally culpable for first goal. Howard could bail stones out but is sleeping and weirdly backing away from the ball.

Goal two is slightly unlucky but the ball looped up off the deflection and he simply sat down on his arse.

Howard compounds errors rather than rectifying them.
pretty much sums it up, people can blame stones this week, or blame jags last week, but having this biff behind them compounds even the slightest error, the defense must be a constant bag of nerves with howard in the team, you will see an upturn in everyone's performance once this utter illness of a keeper is removed

he is so so bad, how can manager not see this?

He's got to see it, I still think he's scared to drop Howard because of his influence and ego in the dressing room. Howard would turn the whole squad against him if he wanted to, similar to what Gerrard did with Hodgson, and Terry with Mourinho. Honestly a rotten, poisonous character. He doesn't care if we finish 12th or 5th and lose all our best players, as long as he's still playing every week and getting in the USA squad, getting his grid all over magazine covers and TV shows in the states he's not arsed. Complete vermin he is

Im not a Manager, none of us are but we can see that theres literally only a few things needing to change for an upturn in form to come around, unfortunately our manager cannot see it.

That in mind, i do still think dropping Howard is one of those changes. If i could be bothered i go through every game and see what goals were his fault and how many points they cost us, but id only get even more annoyed.

Joel in net, Jagielka-Mori for a bit and 4-3-3 formation not 4-2-3-1 and i reckon our form will turn and we'll shoot up the League.
