Come off his line for crosses yes, you can't defend him at all there. He can see what's happening in front of him, agood keeper stays or gives his defender a shout to do something with it in that situation.

Disagree. Jagielka obviously must shoulder some blame, but Howard could have managed it with communication with his defenders.

If it was a one-off situation then I'd probably agree with Jagielka taking the brunt of it, but it isn't: we've seen similar mix-ups involving Howard.

All it takes is a loud, assured shout by Howard and Jagielka could have left it or managed it. From all accounts there wasn't hence the confusion.

This isn't a ant-Howard crusade comment, yet it becomes embarrassing when you see the same exasperating situation numerous times.

No doubt Jagielka could have dealt with it better but it's a one off for him. Howard on the other hand is a serial offender; that says a lot to me.
