Not it wasn't you're having a mare Abraders.

His first game was against Newcastle and he was awful again as we got beat 3-2.

Facts don't seem your strong point today.
I've gone off opta which stated these were the games he played.
Newcastle was in 2014. It was on my birthday. 28th december to be exact.

The problem is not how many shots Howard saves but the basics of controlling your 6 yard box.

He can save as many worldly strikes as he want but if he can't claim the ball off a set piece then we will (and do) concede regularly

That's not true.

Robles is awful, why do you think he can't force his way into the team if he's so good? And why has he got less than 50 top flight games to his name at the age of 25 and a half?

Robles will do very well to get a championship club interested in him if he was to seek a move away and he's supposedly in his prime. He'll do well to have a quater of the success Howard has enjoyed during his career.
Yes Doug Robles keeps clean sheets, and saves pens Urm your logic v his game v Norwich ??

Depends how the 'saves' are considered to be honest, and against Middlesborough he definitely didn't look that dodgy.
What? A save is a save. A shot on target that the goalkeeper prevents from going into the goal. Howard has made a staggering number of them this season.

Is this some ridiculous rationalizing like in the Lukaku thread a while ago where people decided that tap-ins and Europa League goals weren't real goals? You don't like Howard, so any time he prevents a goal it doesn't count?

Alright so i exaggerated a bit, who hasn't before? The point is Howard isn't playing well. Simple.
And Stones isn't playing well. And Funes Mori isn't playing well. And Coleman isn't playing well. And Jagielka and McCarthy are injured. And Baines hasn't found his feet yet. And we have seven players forward every time we have the ball. We're terrible at defending at Goodison right now. All around. I understand it makes you feel better to blame it all on one man, but it's still wrong.
