Depends how the 'saves' are considered to be honest, and against Middlesborough he definitely didn't look that dodgy. Needs to be played consistently to really be getting any confidence.

Howard made a nice save vs newcastle i'll give him that. But i can't pinpoint anything else he's done in the recent games other than flap and concede

So you're ignoring the 5 goals he's conceded in his last 4 games for us because we beat Boro in a game Robles didn't have anything to do in?

You cant, you are right about that, but we really don't help maters, if we made as much of an effort to support the players as we do too abuse them we might do slightly better. Its no secret around that after 30 minutes the fans will turn on the players at Godison, any visiting manger who doesn't have that included in his team talk is missing a trick.
 

I'm very certain nobody wanted Robles dropped after he had that solid run until howard came back in for no reason at all,

hull, we won 2-0
west ham, drew 1-1
city, drew 1-1
west ham, drew 2-2
west brom, drew 0-0
palace, won 1-0
and liverpool, drew 0-0

edit:0 losses, 2 wins, 5 draws. 7 games and 4 clean sheets.

Hull beat us 2-0 and Robles was awful in that game.
