Does that include pea roller shots Doug 8th position is not great anyway from a neutral USA channel aswell!
A) Yes, it includes pea rollers, just like it does with every other keeper in the league.
B) He's in 8th position in numbers of wins. Learn to read a table.

Even pea roller shots????
Yes. Do you think we're the only team in the league that concedes pea rollers? Is there something bizarre about the way we defend that would make us give up a huge number of shots on target, but somehow ensure that most of them would be pea rollers? Think about it for a moment.

What? A save is a save. A shot on target that the goalkeeper prevents from going into the goal. Howard has made a staggering number of them this season.

Is this some ridiculous rationalizing like in the Lukaku thread a while ago where people decided that tap-ins and Europa League goals weren't real goals? You don't like Howard, so any time he prevents a goal it doesn't count?
I've never said his saves don't count. I said how they are considered. A pea roller on goal, is still considered a shot and still considered a save.

De gea and Courtois made big saves when their teams came up against each other if you watched that the other day, that is the sort of thing I am actually considering a 'save'... make of it what you will.

I understand everyone has differing opinions and in respect to @Dithering Dougie and others I respect all your opinions too and i'm not here to fall out with anybody.

See my post above , and think about that stat!

And Stones isn't playing well. And Funes Mori isn't playing well. And Coleman isn't playing well. And Jagielka and McCarthy are injured. And Baines hasn't found his feet yet. And we have seven players forward every time we have the ball. We're terrible at defending at Goodison right now. All around. I understand it makes you feel better to blame it all on one man, but it's still wrong.
I have too blamed the defence, but in my defence - this is a Tim Howard thread, and I am purely venting about Tim Howard.

I have said before I expect our INEXPERIENCED defence to make mistakes, Mori, Stones.... they miss Jagielka.

However, that being said, Howard is the EXPERIENCED player and should be doing more to sort [Poor language removed] out. In my opinion.

Choosing between Howard and robles is like choosing who you'd rather nail; ye ma or dad.

Both gash substandard keepers, lay off the jizzing over robles because he's had a couple of half decent games and just hope we splash some cash on a good stopper

Learn to see what a goal keepers supposed to to do Tim has let SEVN home goals in the last two home games there's a stat for you!
Everton has let in seven home goals in the last two games. Everton has also let in one away goal in the last two games. Howard had as much to do with the latter as he did with the former.

Newcastle, Howard made 1 big save admittedly. But i can't recall another save he had to make, Newcastle were very poor and even in the second half it was their own bad shooting (free header from mitrovic going wide) that cost them. On the other hand, Elliot made fabulous saves over and over for them before letting himself down with a flap-punch, for Cleverly to score....

very similar to the flap-punch Howard did against Stoke to make it 3-3.

edit: and Norwich away they literally scored with their only shot on target after us going ahead in that game, i'm sure of it.. feel free to prove me wrong...

How many wins have we had? Scoring for fun , and that clown is letting them in for fun - I use my eyes not your pathetic Stats!
Tim is finished RM has to drop him IMO!

De Gea and Courtois are great keepers, though. I don't think even @Dithering Dougie would claim Howard's on their level. If we could sign a keeper anywhere close to as good as either one of them, I'd be happy to see Howard kicked to the curb.

To be fair, your eyes are clearly terrible, since they don't see things that actually happen. You'll have to forgive me for not trusting them.

Was Robles not De geas successor? Or acclaimed to be? Or is that literally form the depths of my imagination?
