In short then crap!Oh, no doubt about it, Barkley was more at fault for their goal than Howard was, but the defence has little confidence in Howard when it comes to crosses and corners. All our opponents know that if they hang a ball into the six yard box or thereabouts, Howard won't come, which puts the defence under pressure.
Any good keeper will come for the ball 7 times out of 10 under those sorts of circumstances and shout to let his defence know that's what he's going to do, which is why Tim is only an average keeper. He's not as awful as many make out, he's just not that great.
I wonder?January window if we are lucky?
I have to agree.I agree he should go... But it's not like 1980's and 90's.... There seemed to be many a decent keeper around then.... Now??? I can't think of anyone that's worth buying or that we could afford
Butland was around oh and we let that Ruddy fella go!I agree he should go... But it's not like 1980's and 90's.... There seemed to be many a decent keeper around then.... Now??? I can't think of anyone that's worth buying or that we could afford

Well a Ressie mate would say Ings was brilliant with that header from four yards out unmarked with the sun in our keepers eyes would he not!FWIW played golf with my RS mate today and we talked about the game...and the goal of course. His first comment was Barkley should never be marking in the box ever again. He didn't even once mention Howard. Just interesting the view from the other side.

Tell you what every corner give RB the gloves, and let TH stand behind the goal if he is that scared of crosses! Not sure about that tbh, Barkley is not good at marking at set pieces so why give him the responsibility in the first place? Regardless, Howard with his size should be commanding the 6 yard box between the posts at least (appreciate he has never done so in his career which makes the decision to put Barkley in that critical position even more baffling).
England international!I don't think Moyes cared for Ruddy at all at the time. Still not sure he would be ahead of Robles.
So was Ossie. Which he deserved by the way but never first choice.England international!

Ruddy better than TH now though? So was Ossie. Which he deserved by the way but never first choice.
He does command his box and aggressive so ticks the boxes for most here I suppose. Norwich are doing surprisingly well this year. You never know he could return.Ruddy better than TH now though?
