...and now he's guaranteed to start the next two home games when our first choice is fit to play. So not only will he still be past it, he'll be rusty as well. Great decision, really great.
The games are more or less meaningless. There's nothing to be won. Give him a send off along with Hibbert and Osman and clap them off. By your logic here, we shouldn't play the youngsters either since they've not played first team footy at all. I'd prefer we see a lot of different faces, new and old to close out the season.

NO ! Why even bother ?
He has been a great servant but his career with Everton has ended.
2 minutes before the end of the final match versus Norwich is well enough.
Bye Tim.
Yes but RM shows his magic genius yet again when is BK going to get rid of the fraud of a manager, playing kids probably tomorrow with that clown in goal, I agree with you above a sub wit a few minutes to go v Norwich is all he deserves, then they can both leave in a blaze of sadness!
Just read he is giving him the last two home games no wonder RM is asking for the sack!

I don't know where you're getting that from. The youngsters are committed to the club and it would make sense to give them game time when appropriate. Howard is past it and going to another club, so there is absolutely nothing to gain from him playing any more. If they have to give him a send off with game time, I'd prefer a 20 minute cameo on our last home game.

Also, your point about the games being more or less meaningless, well that just sums up the psychology of the club doesn't it? We've got the worst home record in our history, but instead of putting out our strongest possible side to try and salvage some respectability and at least retain 11th(!! - and the prize money that goes with that), we see these games as meaningless, and aren't bothered about our results.

I hope that Moshi is the real deal and destroys that kind of League Two-level thinking. Everton need to be professional, ruthless and have tons of pride if they want to achieve any kind of success. Sentimentality can come by the way of testimonials, pitch parades and themed Matchday Programmes.

I don't get it. Last game of the season, maybe, but why tomorrow? Why only him and not Pienaar, Osman, and Hibbert?

Roberto winding up the fans before he finally shoves off. I wouldn't be surprised to see Osman and Kone getting plenty of minutes over the last 4 games.
