Howard played well past his prime here but I feel bad for him, a clueless manager has ruined any rapport Howard had with the fans.

If the manager is selecting Tim Howard for tomorrow and the Norwich game for sentimental reasons over current playing form, then with no more disrespect to TH - a goalie I have often criticised - the manager has surely set himself up for potentially even more abuse... that or he has accepted he's on his way out and maybe doesn't care about how this selection decision will be accepted.

I hope if TH plays, for his sake, he plays well and keeps a clean sheet. He's never been my favourite goalie but I genuinely hope he doesn't get crucified by the crowd tomorrow on the back of a sentimental call from the manager.
